Our bodies are a very unique design in so many ways. Muscles that we think are the most important, are maybe not as much, and the ones we ignore the most really need the most attention.
A few months ago I posted (Core Strength). Everyone you knows about the importance of your core and how it protects your back but most people tend to overlook their glutes.
Believe it out not your glutes make up the largest muscle group in your body. They attach to your back, hips, pelvis and legs. So when you exercise without stretching before or after these areas will not only feel it but your body will complain.
So stretching these muscles is not only important but a great tension and stress reliever. I’ve posted a lot of great stretching posts on my site!
Also building these muscles is a great way to burn those calories not only during exercise but continually through the day.
