My Parents

My mom and dad are the two most wonderful people. Yes, I put them through their paces pretty good in my teenage years and amazingly enough, they still LOVE me!!

My dad taught me a good work ethic will get you far in this life. I’ve learned this lesson well. He was and is still right. A hard worker is always appreciated and in some cases never acknowledged for the work they do but that’s okay. As long as you go home at the end of the day knowing that you put your best work in, you have nothing to be ashamed of.

My mom taught mom that fierce love for your babies is hard work and always worth it. You get bumps and bruises on many sides but your kids will thank you some day for all the hard work you put in to see them succeed. They may give you grief and pick on you occasionally but they love you all the same.

Both have taught me the value of a relationship with Christ Jesus. Each on their own have a relationship with him that is their own and through watching them I have created my own. I know, without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I have seen the miracles that he has done in my life and what he has done in my friends lives.

So to my mom and dad; thank you for being the best parents to me. For raising me with love, a firm hand and raising me with the knowledge of Christ, the best legacy two parents can ever leave their family.
