My family, wether extended or immediate, are the most important people in my life next to God. So when someone in my family is suffering, I as a nurse, want to make it better. There are times that they don’t want to be better and then there are times that they ask for help.
Last night my uncle asked for help. So I met my aunt Karyl and my uncle Mike at the hospital to see what was causing him distress. It was not as simple as he would have liked and even thought going home was something he wanted it wasn’t in the cards.
Now we are waiting. We are waiting on his body, more tests and possibly open heart surgery. We are nervous but we also know that we have a God that has gone ahead of us and knows the outcome.
We are trusting that no matter what, my uncle is loved beyond measure and will be watched over by the greatest love he has ever known.
