Ever since my grandparents passed Christmas with my family is different, not bad, just different. I never know if we are all gathering together for Christmas or just having it with our immediate families. It’s so haphazard and disorganized.
This year, thankfully, we all got together and celebrated together and it was a blessing. It was like old times again. Laughing together, a John Wayne film playing on the TV and everyone just happy to see each other.
It was a fun day. By the end of it we were all exhausted and ready to sleep but happy.
My kiddos especially as they each received bikes this year! Such smiles they had on their faces when they saw those bikes!!!
