When my oldest was little I was always trying to come up with cute and fun new ways to get her to clean her room, get dressed for the day, etc….Sometimes what came out wasn’t on purpose but it worked!
By accident, one day during a huge snowfall, I said let’s put on our shoes and boots. (Yep, shoes and boots!) My daughter, who was about 4 at the time, thought that was the funniest and greatest thing and we used it for years.
Yesterday, as I listened to my three littles get ready for school I heard them say, “Get on your shoes and boots!” Who know all those years ago my fun little blunder would still be going strong. 😊
