It’s been over a year since I started this blog. I’ve learned a lot in this last year.
For instance, I can change how my site looks but that doesn’t mean people will come flocking to it. I can post the most heartfelt, gut wrenching post and not a single person will “like” it, which depending on my mood could send me in to a crying fit (cue my husbands confused look about what he did). I can get paid to write but only if I actually have a fan base. (Can I pay people to become my fan base?)
All in all it’s been a good year. I haven’t divulged any really juicy secrets (yet) and my kids antics are slowing down (for now) but it’s safe to say that I’m sure that will change.
I had a friend ask my recently why I even started my blog. I started reading a book called Girl, wash your face by Rachel Hollis and I decided I wanted to try a blog again (is tried several times before). This time it stuck. Hmm… God sure does have a way of timing things, doesn’t he?
