Advice

I’ve had people randomly ask me over the last 6 years if I have any parenting advice for new parents of twins. My answer is always the same, “If you can survive the first 3 months you have it made.” Sometimes I get a confused look but usually they get it.

No joke! I still to this day have days missing from those first three months. People told me that they stopped by and visited me for awhile and I actually don’t remember. I’m like “Are you sure?” and they assure me that they were there. We had whole conversations that I cannot remember! It’s a little scary. When I’ve talked to other twin mamas and papas gone before me, they report the same events happens to them too. So I’m in good company.

Don’t get me wrong twins are wonderful and fascinating all at once. It’s just hard work. Especially when they figure out they can divide and conquer you by the age of 6 months. It’s an adventure I’ll never trade but it’s not something I’d wish on an enemy either. So many contradictions!!! LOL 😂
