Today we say goodbye to George H. W. Bush. He was 94. I don’t remember much of his presidential term as I was pretty young then but I do remember that he was a generous man and his wife was a gracious lady.
He was president during a war with Iraq, when the Berlin Wall fell and the stock market took a dump. Life for Americans was changing and he took a hit. He wasn’t re-elected but he was always remembered especially when his son was elected President. The second father son duo to do so in our American history.
He was a war hero, brother, father and husband. He loved his family and his God. Today he gets to be with both his wife and his Heavenly Father. Rest In Peace good sir we have the watch now.
