A couple days ago I posted on a young man who I knew from high school (What’s your legacy?) who had passed. I wanted to let people see just how much a difference one person can make in the life of so many people. Yes, I understand that he was a paramedic, firefighter and a local boy but those are not the qualities that people are remembering about him. He touched the lives of hundreds of people in this community by being joyful, hopeful, compassionate and the list goes on. His body was brought back to our community on Monday and a procession accompanied it. Hundreds of people lined the streets of our town to say a final goodbye to this wonderful soul. We might not all get such a great send off but trust me when I say we can all make lasting impressions that make a difference in others lives forever.
Wow! I went I Bend High for only a short time period and briefly met Rhett. He was sweet and kind. It appears that he stayed that way and touched so many lives.
