Wonderful Dad

I have on many occasions, mentioned that my husband is a wonderful guy. He puts up with us four girls on a daily basis and now that our girls are getting older it’s getting even more challenging.

Our twin daughters, Kayla and Reagan, are at that age when “Aunt Flo” has come to visit and several times a month there are too many tears and sometimes just over the top anything in this house for about two weeks a month. I give my husband credit, he hasn’t run screaming to the hills.

Which brings me to today. Our poor Kayla is cramping something horrible into her run up to the dreaded day and it’s been worse than before. I gave her medicine that didn’t work and she came home early from school.

Mike, when he figured out the medicine wasn’t cutting it, went to the store and bought dark chocolate, Tylenol and some anti- nausea meds in hopes that they might help.

How sweet was that?? I don’t know too many dads that would go to the store searching for medicine and chocolate to see if it will help their daughter’s cramps go away.

I say it again, my husband is the most wonderful husband and dad.

  1. That’s so sweet of him. Unfortunately bad cramping runs in the Family (I’m not sure if that have hereditary)But My mom and one of my sisters and many of our kids how the same problem. It’s terrible to watch when they are in pain like that. Heating pad works great too. Prayers for her.
