Tonight as I was heading home from work, I arrived on scene just after a horrible multi-car accident.
I attempted to render aide to one man who was no longer with us. I will never forget his face, the truck or all the blood on the road. I attempted to help another man who was trapped in a car with most likely two broken legs, and thankfully, one man with his dog were safe and sound.
I have seen death before and attempted to save a life but not like this and I’m not sure how I will sleep tonight. Everyone who got out of their cars and helped those individuals was a hero and I’m glad I stopped and helped. Everyone there tonight deserves a pat on the back and a hug. They were good people in a bad situation and they helped.
Please God, to all those in and around the accident tonight give them peace.
