Do you remember the first joke you told as a kid? Do you even tell jokes? I know some people don’t.
My family is big on humor and not even just to make people laugh. We just find everyday things hilarious. I envy my dad, uncle Mike and Aunt Liz. They have such a talent for telling stories that they can have people rolling on the floor in stitches.
Of course, they come by it naturally. My grandpa and his siblings could all spin a tale and tell jokes at family reunions that left everyone with tears of laughter rolling down our cheeks.
I think my kiddos are inheriting some of these abilities of joke telling too. Kayla can sure make people giggle and Bethany isn’t too bad either.
It always makes my heart happy to end the day with my home filled with laughter and happiness. Thank the lord that during these times we can still do that.
Oh and in case you were wondering my first joke was this. “How do you get a squirrel out of tree?”
Grandpa: “I don’t know? How do you?”
Me: “Act like a nut!!!”
I was only 6 by the way but my grandpa laughed and laughed. Oh what a legacy that man left behind. ❤️
