Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. The smells from the kitchen, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on TV, listening to the kids run around and play while they wait for this food (that is taking forever and I’m going to die waiting any longer!!!).
It takes me back to my childhood and all those holidays with my family. Who doesn’t want their kids to have those same memories. That being said I’m not sure if I want to do it this year. Don’t get me wrong, we will still have thanksgiving dinner but it might not be a huge turkey and all the trimmings.
Our three littles, bless their hearts, just aren’t turkey and the trimming loving kids. They would rather eat it macaroni and cheese and maybe just a bite of pie. That leaves mike and I with possibly our oldest eating all the rest. That’s a lot of food going to waste.
So here I am battling it out in my mind trying to figure out the best way and hoping a magical fairy will pop in and do it all for me and then no worries!
