My parents watched a lot of old movies when I was growing up. It was not uncommon of me to quote John Wayne movies or Bob Hope movies and get weird stares from kids my age who had only a mild idea of who these people were.
Anyway, I love quotes from this generation. Most of the time they are just hilarious and this one from Bob Hope is just spot on for this time we find ourselves in.
